Sukoon is a dynamic collective of musicians brought together by the shared joy of performing Arabic music. Sukoon is Arabic for tranquility, and the members of Sukoon believe that it is through the tranquility of music that we reach the soul's melancholy. Formed in 2010, members of Sukoon come from varied musical backgrounds joined by their love of Arabic music, consisting of a core ensemble of oud, buzuq, percussion, and vocals, often joined by guest artists.
