Benefit Event: CANCELLED: Swat Valley Benefit Concert with Haroon Bacha

Action for a Progressive Pakistan announces, with deep regret, the cancellation of our Swat Valley Benefit Concert scheduled for 12th June at the Alwan Center for the Arts. Our co-organizer, the Coney Island Avenue Project, has pulled out at the last minute, and unfortunately we are unable to go through with the event on our own. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. For those who have already made donations, please let us know (progpak@gmail.com). We can either return them or arrange to have them sent to SUNGI.
We will be organizing other events around the issue of the IDPs and what is now being talked of as a long war in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Please look for future announcements from us regarding these events.
