Queens Museum of Art & Alwan for the Arts present
Night of Arab Culture
at the Passport Fridays Outdoors International Film, Dance, & Music Series
from 6:30 – 10:30pm -- Free!
Featuring Dance In Queens Awardee, Yaa Samar! Dance Theatre, and live music by Tarab.
Followed by Feature Presentation of Nacer Khemir’s “El Haimoune /
Wanderers of the Desert”
Leave your baggage at home and bring a picnic blanket out to Flushing
Meadows Corona Park for the QMA's Passport Fridays Free International
Outdoor Film, Dance and Music Series. The weekly outdoor festivities
feature dance performances by participants in the QMA/TOPAZ Arts
Dance in Queens Residency Program, and continue with a live concert
and film screening from one of the many countries that fuel Queens'
cultural & artistic vitality. Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, India, China,
Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia, and Korea are on your all-inclusive
summer itinerary. No raindates! In Case of Rain, program moves inside
of museum.
