Samah Idriss is editor-in-chief of the Lebanese literary journal Al-Adab (www.adabmag.com/ ). He is the author of two books of literary criticism (Ra'if Khuri and Arab Heritage, and Arab Intellectuals and Political Authority in the Novels of the Nasserite Era), eight picture-books for children, and two novels for young adults. He is co-founder of the Campaign to Boycott Supporters of Israel (2002), the Arab National Democratic Movement (2003), and the Campaignfor Civil Resistance (2006)
